Alexander Ramsey rose within the political ranks of Pennsylvania before coming with his wife Anna and the first of their three children to Minnesota in 1849. He eventually served as the state's second governor, mayor of St. Paul, a U.S. senator, and a secretary of war.
The Ramsey House is located in downtown St. Paul in the Irvine Park Historic District at
Exercise, mostly stretching and primarily from your chair at your own ability, takes up to 5-10 minutes of our two-hour period. Some games are played to keep our brain cells sharp. The remainder of our time is used in sharing memories.
Each month we throw out a theme for our “kids” to reflect on, memories from their childhood or early adult lives. Check the bulletin or Newsletter for details on the theme.
What We DON'T Have:
a) a business meeting; b) elected officers; c) dues; d) membership; e) roll call.
What We DO Have and Hopefully Plenty to Share:
a) faith; b) flexibility; c) fun; d) friendship.
